This past weekend SEVERAL ladies and I joined in and became glitter bellas for a weekend long event of crafing, friendship and renewed inspiration. It was wonderful seeing old faces again, and connecting with new.
The weekend "kicked-off" with Jessi's Bella Bus Tour.
We had a fun 3 hours of shopping the Brass Armadillo Antique mall. WOW! I scored on lots of cute cute treasures!
Here I am with goodies in hand!
At checkout I managed to snag a cute photo of Lori, Tiffany, and the Queen herself….Jessi.
After shopping and lunch. Karla, Tiffany, Suzanne, Lori, Robin, and I made a little detour and went to visit Hannah's wallpaper.
This was our expression when walking in.
Wall to wall vintage wallpaper!!!!
Karla looking happy with her wallpaper find.
Suzanne looking happy with her MANY rolls.
I got super lucky and SCORED on the first roll I picked up in the vintage childrens wallpaper section.
BUNNIES!!!!!
After an excellent fun day of shopping it was time to get ready for the Welcome Night. First stop before the Welcome reception was the highly anticipated Glitter Lounge party hosted by Karla, Carol, and Carol's super sweet niece Shelly.
Pink Champagne & cupcakes. YUMMM!!!
A toast!
Friend and roomie Lori.
My other fabulous friend and roomie Tiffany.
Texas sweetheart friend Joanna.
Lorraine Rose who I MOST adore!
My other wonderful friends and adjoining roomies Andrea,Gabrielle, and Lori.
Amy and Lorraine.
Hope & Lori looking cute & silly.
The classes this year was AMAZING!!!!! Loved the projects!
The uber talented Pam Garrison.
Jessi, Me, and Jennifer Murphy. Ooooh I am such a HUGE fan of her adorable mohair and pom pom creations!!!
The class we took was "Bundle up Birdie". My little birdie turned out a bit sugary. Photos to come soon!
One of the biggest hightlights of attending Silver Bella is the Vendor Fair. Tables among tables of the most fabulous vendors. It's a shoppers dream!!!
Karla had her vendor table filled to the brim with vintage and handmade fancies.
Lookie at her basket of dollies.
Karla's little Sugarwings attended the big event. She is a little doll herself!
The lovely Tricia of Vintage Bliss.
One of the highlights of my trip was seeing this gorgeous girl Miss Christine Rose Elle. She looked like a pretty pink confection all dolled up.
The theme of this years event was 100 Aprons. All the ladies wore their best handcrafted apron.
Lorraine in my opinion won best kitsch apron. She had little bitty frying pans all over her apron. She looked adorable!
Me and my big sis Jessi striking a pose.
Fabulous & talented Lisa Kettell.
This year they had a photo booth where the girls could cram inside and take fun and silly pics.
Poor Lori! You can only see half her face in the pics. LOL!

I bought lots of sweet treats all of which I will show in my next post. ๐
The next day we had the wonderful and amazing opportunity to hear Jo Packham of Where Women Create speak. I dont think there was a dry eye in the room. She moved us all with her soulful words and wisdom. I could have listen to Jo talk all day long. She is extremly humbled and connects so well with us creative women. Meeting Jo was another major highlight of my trip.
You can never seem to get enough photos of your friends.
Swaps are an important part of Silver Bella. My big sister Jessi hosted a pre Bella book swap for the ladies that attended my En Le Jardin event. We each made a page and Jessi made the cover and put the book together.
Jessi ALWAYS goes ALL out on the details. The wrapping paper was fab!!!
The stunning book cover!!!! The beautiful pages inside will be shown on my next post.
Group shot of all the lovely ladies.
It was another great year at Silver Bella. Im so blessed and grateful for opportunity to be able to participate in this amazing event. Im even more grateful for the friendships and memories in which I have made.
Please stop by for another visit for I will be sharing lots of "eye candy" photos of gifts, purchases, and projects in my next post.
Have a Happy & Creative week!!!
