Hello sweet friends! Hope the start of your week has been good thus far. This post is just a good ole' catch up of things that I've wanted to chat about and share.
Our days have been bundled up at home, sitting by a nice warm fire, and renting movies. Due to the extreme cold we are having, the children tend to go a bit stir crazzy inside the house every now and than, so my husband and I manage to get brave, throw on our winter coats and let the children take their new Christmas bicycles for a ride.
These are some darling shots of the kids on their bikes.
Vivi spots a friendly neighborhood kitty.
Hello sweet kitty!
The kids have a ball on their bikes, but every now and than Daddy has to help out. :)
Riding off into the sunset……..Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
This past weekend I had the fun opportunity to join my sweet friends Kris Hurst ( BIRTHDAY GIRL!!! It was Kris' b-day that day!) and Marilyn (not pictured) for a shopping day at the Atlanta Gift Mart.
It's overwhelming the amount of AMAZING vendors. Bethany Lowe, Cody Foster, MacKenzie Childs, and the list just goes on! We couldn't stop oohing and aaahing over the fabulous collections.
We definitely made a stop at Tinsel Trading. Kris, Me, and Marcia.
After paying Marcia a visit we bee lined it to see Ashley Carter of Goldbug Studio.
I have been a HUGE fan of Ashley's work for years! She is such an inspiration to me. Her pieces are magical and whimsical and FULL of the most finest detail. I can stare at her ornate pieces in amaze and wonderment for hours. I met Ashley at the gift mart last year and we have since become great friends. She shares her journey how she got started in the industry, and always offers me terrific advice.
Ashley's studio was shot last year for Where Women Create and will be featured in one of this year's issues. Cant wait to see! Im even trying to talk Ashley into taking a mini vacation break from her studio to attend my event in Savannah and possibly be a vendor. Who knows???? A girl can dream…..We'll see! ๐
Now for a little shout out for my friend Cheryl of Back in the Day Bakery. She asked me to help spread the word that she will be on the Food Network Paula Deen show this Saturday 11:30am est time on an episode called "Brown Baggin' It" Be sure to check it out. You'll get to see her in action making her famous cupcakes!
I have some YUMMY show and tell goodies to share. These two lovely lovely ladies deserve some BIG KUDOS for both being so thoughtful and giving!
An adorable lamb baby planter filled with trim and floral millinery that was given to me by Kimberly Ryan.
Darling as can be!!! Kimberly will also be teaching at Cassandra's VanCuren Marie Danse Des Fleurs event. So excited! Kimberly's work is stunning!!!!
This DARLING little mini candlelight ballerina box was hand crafted and sprinkled with fairy dust by Valarie Kraft. How SWEET is this???
This piece sits in Miss Vivi's room. It's the perfect little night lite to use while she drifts off to sleep.
Also in the package was mini gumball machines for the kids, Christmas candy, and vintage seam bind and rick rack that I cant wait to use!
This last little treat in the package just tickled me. It's a vintage angel that looks like she is giggling. Vivi instantly claimed her. ๐
Thanks so so much Kimberly and Valarie!!!! I loooove my gifts!!!!
Ok my friends…. off to finally catch up and see what's going on with YOU!
Have an inspiring creative filled week!!!!!

Oh do I HATE the winter!! I’d love to be able to go out in the winter & not have to bundle up like a artic explorer!

Hi Sweetness,
The kido’s look so darling on their new bikes
How fun to remember the days when my boys were on training wheels…we had a friendly neighborhood cat too that boys always got off their bikes to pet on our daily bike rides. Now they ride standing up and with no hands.
Hugs,
Suze
I am so glad you met Marcia, she is a sweetie also Rosemary her designer . I have sold to them for years. Its great to meet in person. Hope you had fun, It sounds like it. The little ones would need a sled up here in the midwest lol. I love the nightlight candle box. too cute
It HAS been cold here, hasn’t it!!! It’s supposed to be in the 60’s this weekend!!lol The kids are precious on their bikes…kids don’t care if it’s cold or hot as long as they are having fun. The Mart looks wonderful…can’t wait to go!!
hugs, Sherry
Jenn…..I LOVE the pictures of your babies on their bikes. Their knee pads had me laughing..love it!! I am so happy that Miss Viv liked the lamp and angel. You are such a sweetheart, and bring so much sunshine to my day.
xxoo Valarie
My little girl got pink retro trike for Christmas, but she’s not as bold on it yet as your two :o) Mind you, there is still on the ground here so not much chance to practice yet.
YOu get to visit the best places. I honestly don’t think the UK has any craft places half as good. Not fair. Do you know if the Paula Deen episode will be available on the net? She isn’t shown here. I only know of her because a friend sent me one of her magazines.
Now I’ve had a lovely dose of pink frou frou gorgeousness, I can go about my day :O)
Oh Jenn, how wonderful the Atlanta mart looks!! Grant and Vivi look adorable on their bikes, I love the shot of Vivi and the kitty ๐ And what wonderful treasures you’ve shared~sweet eye candy indeed!! Stay warm (my boys are out sledding today)! xo, Jen
