Happy Summer, sweet friends!

Can you believe July is just around the corner? And you know what that means… Christmas in July!

We’ve reached the halfway mark to the holidays, and what better way to beat the summer heat than by staying cool indoors and crafting a heartfelt gift for a fellow creative?

It’s been quite a while since I last hosted a swap—and oh, how I’ve missed it. There’s something truly special about gathering a circle of kindred spirits who love to create and share joy with one another.

So without further ado… I’m absolutely delighted to announce our swap!

I’ve always had a soft spot for Tussie Mussies—there’s just something so enchanting about them!

Originally popular during the Victorian Era, Tussie Mussies were delicate little posies thoughtfully arranged in small, decorative holders. These charming bouquets were exchanged among friends and loved ones as a way to convey heartfelt messages—whether expressions of love, sympathy, well wishes, or simple tokens of friendship.

A sweet little historical tidbit I adore: they were made even more popular by Queen Victoria herself! She was known to carry them often, treating them as a beloved accessory—both fashionable and sentimental.

For our swap, we’ll be creating a festive twist on this lovely tradition. Our version will be a Yuletide keepsake—something whimsical and heartfelt to brighten a corner of the home during the holiday season.

This vintage inspired swap you will decorate the outside of the tussie cone, then fill the inside with an assortment of treats and vintage treasures.

Wallpaper, scrapbook, ephemera, music sheet, gift wrap.

Ribbons, tinsels, crepe paper, vintage rhinestones, trinkets and trims.
