Cottage Style shoot
Yesterday was a fun fun day for Miss Vivi and I. About a month after my photo shoot for Romantic Country back in February, Fifi O'Neill contacts me again to tell me that Cottage Style is interested in shooting Vivian's nursery. Of course Im beyond THRILLED! Vivi's nursery is a combo of EVERYTHING I love! When I found out 2 1/2 years ago that we were adopting her I wasted no time getting busy decorating her nursery. It needed to be pink, have lots of bunnies, roses, a vintage cottage "look" and of course be super girlie! I feel like a part of her room is MY room as well. She has a beautiful collection of artwork from sooo many of my blog artist friends Jenny Heid, Kris Hurst, Lori Karla, Natasha Burns, Cheryl Dack, Laurie Duncan,Lisa Kettell and many more that I was so honored and happy that they would want to take pics of her sugary whimsical room to share with it's readers!

Last week I received a BIG surprise box from Suze Persechino of Junque Drawer Chick. Gaaaaaa!!!! Im thinking "What did I do to deserve this? LOL!!!" I was totally overwhelmed!!! Suze gifted me with a box of storybook dolls for me to use in my artwork, the most precious vintage baby book. Here's a peek inside.
AND……these CUUUUTE baby planters!!! Im starting to lose count now of how many I have. tee! hee!

It such a treat to be able to hang out with Fifi and "talk shop" and get the fun scoop on upcomming shoots, and beautiful projects. Dan is such a cool laid back guy to work with and makes the shoot fun and NOT stressful. ๐ He even has a GREAT eye for styling!!! hee! hee! Overall, it was a fantastic shoot, and I feel like one REALLY lucky and blessed gal!!!

Oh that room is gorgeous, no even better than that, but my english just lacks. The real star of the magazine however, will be Miss Viv herself! My, we haven’t seen her for a short time and she has turned into a beauty! I love that new girl! You must be a very proud Mamma! Enjoy these moments!

What are you feeding Vivi?? I am so shocked how much shes grown in the last few months, her face is changing too! I ADORE our little doll on her new chair and love the rosie dress! What a sweet surprise stumbling upon your blog! It is soooooooo darn cute! Your daughter is adorable and is one lucky little girl. Her bedroom is fit for a Princess for sure. Both my girl’s are now 16 and 18, but when they were little I had a great deal of fun decoarting their bedrooms with Laura Ashley bedding,(with roses of course) and being a Cosmetologist I always dolled them all up with the cutest outfits and their hair was always in original styles of course. Fortunately my girls have allowed me to continue my decorating flair for the bedrooms over the years. As a matter of fact, a couple weeks ago I asked Tara and Tasha to create my own photoshoot of them with my collection of vintage clothing and naturally they obliged me!
