Bunnies and cupcakes! What a way to celebrate Easter! I hope you had a wonderful and joyous Easter weekend.
My family and I spent our Easter weekend at The Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill right outside of Savannah.
It's southern finest at it's best!
We invited our good friends Suzanne & Reg Rogers and their son Matthew to join us for the weekend.
We stayed at this charming and beautiful home.
While the guys took the boys fishing. Suzanne, Vivi and I spent some quality girl time shopping in Savannah.
Savannah has some of the most beautiful historic streets and homes.
Much like Charleston, several homes have gorgeous courtyards and gardens.
Suzanne and I couldn't help but take sneak peeks of the gardens. So beautiful!
Cute shot of Suzanne taking pics!
A little girl can only take so much shopping and siteseeing.
A few Easter family photos on the porch.
Grant wanted nothing to do with his little sister. I begged him to wrap his arm around her for the photo but he refused. Vivi just smothered him with hugs! hee! hee!
The lovely Suzanne & I
Kiddies hanging out waiting patiently before the Easter festivities begin.
The front Clubhouse lawn is where the Easter egg hunt and little petting zoo took place. It was beautifully decorated and the children and families all looked fabulous in their spring Easter attire.
Paper Easter eggs hang from spanish moss oak trees.
Little trails of Easter eggs.
The petting zoo was a hit with the children.
Ummmm…..I've never seen a black hen before. Please excuse me but Im guessing this is a rare hen ?
It wouldn't be Easter if you didn't have bunnies.
Kids & the Easter Bunny
On your mark, get set, GO! Weeeeee!!!!
After hunting eggs, we enjoyed a wonderful brunch at the Clubhouse.
Inside the main entrance they had a darling Easter display of cupcakes and deserts. YUM!!!!!!
Sweet!
Needless to say we had a wonderful weekend with family and good friends. The weather couldn't have been more beautiful and perfect for our Easter Day celebration.
The Easter bunny paid me a visit via my friend Suzanne.
WOW! The Easter bunny has good taste! ๐
Hope the Easter Bunny paid you a visit too! I look forward to stopping by your blogs and seeing how you spent your Holiday!

Awww.thank you Linda! So kind of you! Thanks for the visit! Bunny hugs! XO
Oh yes and I have one of those chickens as well, they are Chinese Silkies and they have that soft down instead of feathers. They are quite sweet but I am sure they don’t speak the same chicken language as the other Bantams that we have, they always seem to be a bit behind the other chickens…perhaps they speak Chinese chicken?
Kiss Noises again Linda

Your little children are precious! I especially love the photo of your little girl hugging her brother! I am signing on as a follower of your blog, I don’t want to miss a thing… xoxo Julie Marie
What a beautiful place and wonderful way to celebrate Easter! A perfect little holiday. Although a bit ‘late, I do my most affectionate greetings.
Elena
Jennifer, all your pictures are gorgeous, but the children stand out the most. Viv and Grant look so cute together and the picture of you and the family is beautiful. My children are all grown and do not live close by, so it was a quiet Easter for me. Sometimes it’s hard at holidays, but they do such interesting things, that I don’t mind not having them with me. Mother’s Day is always the hardest, but they are in my heart always. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures. Hugs, Pat
I have not forgotten the scrapbook pages —I have a giveaway to finish, but have everything I need for their pages, except taking the disks and having the pictures done.
Jenn….it looks like you had a fabulous Easter. You looked lovely. I love the picture of your sweet daughter trying to hug your son. Have a fabulous week.

Hello Jenn ~I’ve truly missed my visits, but little by little I’m making my way back.
Although last month was difficult with our loses a new month has brought new hope.
I poured myself a cup of tea and read a spell…
What a fabulous Easter you had with your family and friends. I love Grants smile in your family photo, and especially the hugin Vivi squeezed in…so adorable.
Seeing all those trees in bloom has me so excited for spring flowers to make their (full) debut. I look forward to applying the inspirational palette of colors into a few decorations and gifts, with a little cooking in between.
Don’t you love the aroma that fills the air during this season?
It’s definitely invigorating.
Stroll by for a visit, your company will be nice.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
Such a beautiful post with lots of amazing pictures! Love the one of you & Suzanne!
hugs,
Sherry
I discovered your blog while looking for vintage pictures. I’m hooked! I ‘m in Wonderland and not sure if I want to go home. Candy-liscious! I ‘ve been looking way back in 2007 and there is so much to see and indulge on. I love the vintage toys and animals -remind me of my childhood-. You should have a Wonderland to visit… I ‘ve added you on my blog and will be back for many visits. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Margaret,
Thank you SO SO much for your super kind note. I truly appreciate it! Please pay me a visit again, and I will be sure to stop by yours! XO
You guys look like a wonderful family. The house is certainly beautiful.
OMG That’s so yummy! Too bad I can’t eat any sweets this coming Easter for the sake of my dental health. I’m scheduled for a root canal with my dentist in Libertyville sometime during the Holy Week. Wish me luck!
