Hello Friends!
I’m serving up a slice of party cake in celebration over the new September Fall issue of Where Women Cook magazine.
Cake for everyone!!!
I am happy to share that I have the great honor of being featured in this months publication.
I’ve been a long time loyal Stampington & Company reader and follower for years.
They have a long list of gorgeous and inspiring magazines they publish.
For me to be asked to share my cooking inspirations, favorite recipes, and photos of my kitchen is a huge honor!
I owe a major heartfelt thank you to the incredible Jo Packham and Stampington for this wonderful opportunity.
The icing on the cake was including my daughter Vivian.
I remember when I was little spending time in the kitchen with my Mom and learning how to cook.
It’s nice that my daughter can join me in the kitchen and be my little helper.
We made these fun whimsical party cupcake jars.
You can find the recipe on page 75.
Teamwork!
I enjoy crafting and decorating, and thought it would be fun to give these party cupcake jars a bit of old fashioned cuteness.
The coconut cake is perfect to serve during spring and Easter.
The lamp cake topper is an easy DIY project.
This pear walnut salad is always a favorite with family and friends. Recipe on page 76.
I share more wonderful recipes in my feature so please check it out!
Have a cookie and let me take you on a kitchen tour.
My favorite part of my kitchen is the windows.
There is tons of natural light and really helps brighten up the kitchen.
My kitchen is one big cheery happy space.
I collect vintage salt & pepper shakers, as well as planters.
Hi Coco!
My kids love sitting at the small round table and chairs.
If you have a sweet tooth come to my house. I can hook you up! 😉
Sweet collectibles make me smile.
More dust collectors! ha!!
A place to hang the aprons.
Homer Laughlin china collection.
This darling planter makes the perfect flatware holder.
Hee Hee! We wish!!!
Thank you for letting me share a little corner of my home.
Please pick up a copy of Where Women Cook.
There are some incredibly talented ladies featured with their own signature food style. My friend Suzanne Duda and her farmhouse kitchen is one of those amazing features with the most yummy recipes!
The magazine is on newstands right now!
You can find the magazine at Barnes & Noble, Michaels, Joann’s, or any book store.
Thanks for visiting!
Happy Cooking!

I so enjoyed the tour of your lovely kitchen and seeing pics of you, Vivi, & Coco! I was born in 1953….The gorgeous things you collect were au rigueur when I was a kid growing up! Your kitchen is my dream kitchen! I love not only the “things” but their dreamy COLORS, as well! Where do you find the candies that are in your pretty apothecary jars?
