Greetings my wonderful friends! Hope you all are enjoying your summer and had a wonderful 4th of July!
Our family just celebrated it’s FIRST family summer vacation. Last year we opted not to travel to the beach because Vivian was still a wee one and we didnt want to exposure her to the hot summer heat. This year however we felt she was ready and we packed up and headed on first family Griswold trip! 🙂
We headed to St. Augustine, FL where we rented an ocean front beach home.
I took lots of fun pics of the kids playing in their little swimming pool. Here is Miss Vivi ready to GO!
Lots of splish splashing going on!
Vivi’s first day at the ocean and on the beach. She was NOT happy at first.
Grant had a ball running on the beach.
One afternoon “the boys” (hubby,Grant, Jordan my step-son, and his cousin Pruitt) went fishing in the ocean.
Brothers holding hands.
I adore this super sweet photo of Daddy & Son.
Of course I got in a little “girl time” with my Mom. We hit the antique shops in downtown St. Augustine. Here is a few shots of some pretties I fell in love with.
Bathing beauties.
Adorable vintage mermaid.
A GORGEOUS vintage prom gown that reminded me of my girlfriend Natasha.
While I vacation I also made a point to visit my darling girlfriends that live in Jacksonville. Wendy, Jamie, & Jeanie. These gorgeous gals I met last year at Silver Bella. Wendy and Jamie are sisters and own the MOST ADORABLE childrens boutique shop called “Popin“. I brought Mister Grant along as well, because the girls just adore him.
Let’s a take a little tour.
Their shop OOOOZZZZZ’S sweetness!!!!
Look at this mural of confection sweets!
A fun group shot.
Im BUMMED they wont be returning to Silver Bella this year. They will be missed!!!!! Thanks for the fun afternoon girls and the YUMMY cupcakes!
In downtown St. Augustine they have the most beautiful vintage Carousel. There is something so nostalgic about a carousel. It remindes us of happy childhood memories. The gorgeous horses, bulb lights, smokey old looking mirrors, and organ music is so magical. We took the kiddies one afternoon for SEVERAL fun spins.
This photo of Daddy and his baby girl just MELTS my heart!!!
Grant all smiles!
Weeeee!!!!!!
On one of our last days at the beach after the kids have developed a nice little tan I attempted to take some beach photos of the kids all dressed in white.
I got some gorgeous shots.
Children holding hands.
This last shot has to be one of my favorites.
I could have not asked for a more wonderful family trip. As much fun as we had I must admit it was NICE to get home to our own beds and the kids were glad to be back in a routine and able to play with their toys again.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy your summer!!!!
