Hello and welcome to my new home sweet home!
I’ve been away from blogging for quite a long time now. Life got super busy over this past year with moving, unpacking, and kids starting back to school. I’m thankful to finally feel settled and happy to be blogging again. It’s funny…stepping away from creating, blogging, and connecting with my dear friends and followers really left a huge void in me. Larger than I could have imagined. I’ve missed it and I’ve missed YOU!
I knew this move would take a huge chunk of time in my life. Not only did I move my house, but I also moved my art studio. It was very bittersweet closing up my studio space, but I’m thankful to have a nice little spot on the upstairs floor for my craft room. PJ’s, coffee, (or champagne) and crafting is seriously calling my name! ha!
My family and I are delighted with our new home! When we originally toured the house I felt good positive energy from it. It has lots of big windows with natural sunlight which was really important to me. There’s plenty of space for the kids, and a beautiful screened porch and pool we could all enjoy. The original style of the house on the outside and inside was however not quite to my personal style. It needed a touch of Jenn.
With the help of these incredible companies Struttura and Exclusive Paint Team they transformed the house to my sweet cottage style home.
Here is the BEFORE
Work in progress!
I had a vision with this house and wanted to transform it and and give it a beautiful fresh makeover!
This is the AFTER!
After much research and looking at several homes online and thru Instagram we decided to have the house Limewashed. I fell in love with this old world look. It made the house look larger in size and gave it beautiful character. The Limewash is made by the company Romabio. There are so many colors of Limewash to choose from. I chose the brightest white called Bianco white.
We hired the company Struttura (click name to visit website) out of Atlanta to do the Limewash treatment. They did a phenomenal job! I highly recommend them! Once the Limewash was finished we then hired the amazing painting team Exclusive Paint Team also out of Atlanta. Top notch professional! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with transforming our home to a whitewash cottage style.
Once the house was finished, we hired D.I.M. Landscape to design and install all new landscape.
We are beyond thrilled with the results! I’m also very thankful that our neighbors like the new look as well. They’ve been very complimentary.
The pups even like the new home too!
I have much much MORE to share including a home tour with tons of B&A photos.
If your like me, I enjoy seeing before and afters. It’s always so inspiring.
Thank you for visiting!
I hope you’ll continue to follow. I have soooo much to share including some some fun holiday DIY projects and makeovers.
Till next time!
Hugs,
Jenn
