Hello Friends!

I hope your doing well and keeping safe. I’ve taken a mini blog break and happy to be back.

We have officially been in our new home for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier!

Every room is furnished and decorated except for the swimming pool lounge area.

My family and I really had no where to sit or lay in the sun.

Unlike my younger days, I’m too old to grab a towel and lay on the concrete. I want comfort. hee! hee!

This summer we will staycation instead of traveling. Still trying to keep safe.

So for Mother’s Day and my 18th wedding anniversary my husband gifted me the umbrella and lounge chairs. They’ve been on my wish list since last year.

The style I wanted a create was a old retro Beverly Hills Hotel look.

Soooo classy!

I am in OVERJOYED with how everything looks together.

They have so many beautiful colors and styles to choose from, but this one stole my heart!

The lounge chairs are from Wayfair and tie in so well with my wrought iron dining set.

The cabana stripe cushions came from Birch Lane.

To give a resort feel I rolled up pink and white stripe towels.

All that’s left to decorating this area is planting more potted plants and flowers.

My James Galway David Austin roses are two years old and starting to take off.

All I need now is a few good summer books to read.

I think I’ll try making one of these summer cocktail recipes I found on Pinterest.

We are now summer staycation ready.
