Aloha! I home!!! My family and I had a fabulous Hawaiian vacation. I honestly couldn't believe that on our last day I found myself not wanting to leave. I was really getting into that super laid back relaxing mood, which is SO RARE for me! Im a "GO GIRL" and never slow down! hee! hee! (The photo above was scanned in and looks a bit distorted. Not sure what's up with that. We look kinda funky! LOL!)
The weather could not have been MORE PERFECT!!! Low 80's, with low humidity and a constant ocean breeze. This is the gorgeous view from our balcony.
Im not going to bore you with a ton of photos, but I will share with you just a few of my favorites. While hubby was attending seminars, Grant and I played!
A day on the beach.
Helping Mommy paddle the paddle boat.
A day tour at the Dole pineapple farm located in the mountains.
Wee baby pineapples.
The plantation also had a hibiscus garden.
We toured North Shore and Sunset beach.
Hang loose!
The beautiful green lush mountains .
Our very last evening we attended a Luau. Grant had a BALL!!!! However……the highlight of the evening was my husband being hand PICKED out of almost 500 people to come up on stage and demonstrate the hula dance!!!!! Omigosh! I was laughing hystrically and so was everyone else!!!!!
Trying it shake his money maker!!! Hee! hee!
Hee! hee!
It's finally nice to be home and sleep in my own bed again! It's also WONDERFUL to walk in the door after a long trip to find a big package waiting for you that holds the most breathtaking heart stopping handmade swap gift!!!!
My apron is handmade from the lovely sweet and VERY VERY talented Dara of Sophie Rose Designs.
To me I like to describe it as a grand decadent pink chiffon layer cake. Layers of ruffle and vintage lace. The ruffle is the the icing on the cake!
Dara's gorgeous apron is more like a ball gown. It's quite heavy in weight and has such a rich elegant feel to it, but definitely with a touch of "girlie".
I can tell that Dara put her heart and soul into this apron and sprinkled with lots of love. The details are exquisite!!!
Ooooooh it's sooooo dainty and feminine!!!!
I can't wait to find the perfect opportunity to slip on my satin heels, pop open my favorite bubbly of Veuve Clicquot champange and prance around for fun wearing an "orginal " Sophie Rose Designs apron. 🙂 tee! hee!
I LOOOOOOOOOVE my apron Miss Dara!!!! Again, Thank you Heather and Stephenie for hosting a FABULOUS swap!!!!

Ok my friends, I am going to be a bit MIA for the next two weeks. My art event is less than TWO weeks away and I have TONS to do to finish preparing. I'll be gone for a bit, but I'll be popping in here and there to hopefully see what everyone has been up to!
Have a fabulous creative week!!!!
