Hello friends!
It's been awhile since I've shared some of my newest collectables, and flea market finds.
They are sweet little treasures I've found from all over these past several months.
Some will find a special place in my
home, and the other's might be used in future projects.
I can't seem to resist a vintage doll face with the rosy cheeks and bright red lips!
I found this darling child's hand muff at the Long Beach, CA flea market.
She was in *mint* condition and simply irresistible!
Another fabulous find that I *gasped* over was this vintage cutie.
He now has a home on my studio Happy Wall.
He runs on batteries, plays the drums, and his little pink eyes light up inside.
His quirky smile is too cute!
I have to give some major credit to Miss Jessi for finding this pink bunny for me.
He had my name written all over him!
I know you must be thinking how many stuffed animals does she have?? Sheesh!
Well, it's enough to open an animal day care with. hee! hee! 😉
This vintage child's bucket I am using to hold all my studio pens and pencils with.
Im in love with these little mini birthday cards I found. Some even have a little charm
that comes with the card.
Super sweet tally cards.
This is a darling tin book that opens up. Don't you just love the images? Especially of the children.
Hmmm…got to think about what to use this for.
Just in time for Christmas.
How cute are these aqua elves?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Holt Howard figurines!!!
I especially love and collect his angels and feather angels.
How fun is this little retro handbag? I love the texture and the pastel dots! It was a swap gift given to me by the lovely and talented Joy Campbell.
I *scored* these CUTE vintage inspired pillows while shopping at The Creative Connection Handmade market.
I think they look sweet on Vivi's bed.
This pretty lady sits on my bed.
These last few finds I want to share with you are my most favorite!
A beautiful soft feminine hand altered top created by the uber talented Miss Christine Rose Elle.
The first time I wore this top I had female strangers coming up to me begging me to
tell them where I purchased this top. I gladly told them about Miss Christine and her
gifted talent for making us ladies feel even more feminine and prettier with her
beautiful handmade jewelry and altered clothes.
The details are scrumptious!
Ribbons, lace, bows, and sparkle!
When surfing Ebay a few weeks ago I accidentally stumbled upon the prettiest vintage millinery.
For some reason I rarely bid on millinery. I don't usually go out of my way to look for it.
Well, when I saw these velvet lavender violets I feel in love with how simple and
pretty they look. I could just see them on the cover of a handmade journal or collage.
Gorgeous!
Finally I saved the best for last in my humble opinion. Never ever have I seen blow
mold bunny lights before. How darling are these???
So so sweet!
I am running out of space in my little studio area, but I have managed to find a spot to
hang them up.
Isn't it amazing how the littlest treasures can make you feel so happy.
I think we all have something we love collecting weather it's vintage china, figurines, silver,
paper dolls, millinery, fabric, jewelry, and so on.
The adrenaline rush of finding that perfect *special* something is the best!
Wow! My daughter will really be inheriting a huge collection of vintage bunnies one day. 😉
Winter and Christmas are approaching soon, and therefore some of my
talented friends are hosting holiday inspired e-courses.
Amazing projects you should check out! I've signed up for both!
