I am thrilled to participate and join in on Karla’s cottage party. My home is located in a historic district and neighborhood, and was built in 1927. It has a Mediterranean-Italian look to it. However, the inside is decorated in an eclectic mixture of Victorian,Shabby Chic, and Romantic Cottage. I’ve been collecting Romantic Homes magazine for about 10 years now when I was single gal and living in a one bedroom apartment in Atlanta. It was my dream to one day own a home that would be truly "romantic" on the inside, and I was thrilled beyond belief when Romantic Homes featured my house in the May 2005 and January 2007 issue. "Please come inside….WELCOME!!!!!
I LOVE my dining room. It’s in the sunniest part of the house. With large big windows. The walls are a pale lavender, and the slip cover chairs are lavender and white stipe.
Dining room at Christmas.
My Boudoir. I decorated this room in all pale blue and white. Which a touch of pink. This is my most DREAMEST room in the house. 🙂
My Living room is decorated more Victorian and Old World. It’s very cozy!!!!
Corner of my Kitchen that I just love.
The powder room is decorated in black and white. The orginial tile is black and white. So I kept with the theme.
