Birthday Month Celebration
Warm greetings sweet friends! The month of February is turning out to be one of the busiest months for me. Just as I recover from the hectic holidays, I get a small breather just before I have to start planning both my childrens birthdays in the month of February. First Grant's… than mine…than Miss Vivian's. All are back to back! Which makes it for a month long celebration and a hurting on my husbands wallet as he likes to tell it! hee! hee!
For Grant's 4th birthday this year we opted to take him for a long weekend to Disney instead of a traditional birthday party. Before we left for our trip his preschool had a little "Celebration of Life" in his honor. All the children gather and sit in a circle. Grant than holds a small globe and walks all around the circle and each circle represents a year of his life.
A candle is than lit for him to blow out.
Afterwards, cookies for everyone!

Of course we had cake made for him. His new current love is Hot Wheels so I had a hot rod ice cream cake made for him. So long Thomas the train…we are into HOTRODS!!!
After a little "home" celebration we are OFF to Disney! First day Magic Kingdom!!!

The next day we went to Animal Kingdom theme park. My wonderful Step Mom Ellen who lives in Flordia met us at the theme park to spend the day with us. What a special treat!!!!
Im NOT going to bore you with tons of animal photos, but I just had to share these few. My camera takes amazing "zoom in" shots.

We had a fantastic time celebrating Grant's birthday weekend at Disney. Next up……my birthday! My birthday was a little less eventful. hee! hee! A nice dinner with my family and friends.

As a little treat to myself I purchased this FAB Betsey Johnson necklace. She is truly one of my favorite designers!
I also couldn't resist this sparkly vintage necklace I found in a little antique mall. So elegant and beautiful.
Finally this past weekend we celebrated Miss Vivian's 2nd year birthday. She's all "dolled up" ready to celebrate!

This is the cupcake cake we had made. It turned out so pretty!
For Miss Vivian this year we decided to have the Tumblebus come and entertain all the children. The Tumblebus is a fun gymnasium inside the bus where the children bounce, tumble, dance, and play!

Im so bummed I have no pictures of her blowing out the candle. Im lucky that one of the other Mom's took tons of photos to share with me. WHEW!

Happy Birthday to you all! It looks like some amazing birthday fun was had! Your children are tooooo adorable…I loved the photos of Grant at school~precious! And Vivian looks like she had a blast on the Tumblebus…I think I saw that on Jon and Kate Plus 8 once. I love all of the creative birthday ideas! {filing in my brain for when I have kids ;)}

You look really pretty as usual!!! I love how much love you can tell you have for your kids in each foto! We have a lot in comman. My birthday is tomarrow (25) and I was adopted like Vivian was. Oh Jen we are birthday buddies (what date are you?)! i turned the big 4-0 on the 17th… not sure how i got this old, i was only 27 a day or so ago! we were in Maui for 8 days & i wish i could spend EVERY birthday there!!

Oh my gosh, sweet Jenn, I can’t BELIEVE I missed your birthday! I’m a Febbie girl also, February the 5th to be exact! It makes me quite squealy to learn that we share a birthday month, it does!
