Don't you just love this time of year? Warm sunshine, mild temps, and pretty spring colors come alive!
Cherry blossom trees have blossomed and look like fluffy white popcorn as my son calls it. There is a gorgeous Japanese Magnolia next to our yard that has the fullest pink blossoms.
Every year our neighborhood has it's own little early Easter egg hunt for all the children. Grant and Vivian were beyond excited to participate. Of course Mommy had to have brother and sister pose pretty for the camera.
I just have to GUSH!!! The look sweet as pie!!!
Our neighbors The Lovins always do a nice spread for the children.
Vivan got to hang out with one of her preschool classmates Jozie. The girls look adorable arm in arm.
On your mark…get set…GO!!! Children scattered everywhere.
I took some darling photos of Jozie and her big sister Charlie. I think it's cute how Jozie has cookie crumbs on her face. tee! hee!
Charlie counting her eggs.
I got a sweet capture of Vivi and her lollipop.
We are taking the children this weekend to Ford Plantation to celebrate Easter. My wonderful and dear friend Suzanne MacCrone, and her husband and son will be joining us as well. I have to give a MAJOR CONGRATS to Suzanne who has a DOUBLE feature in the current issue of Somerset Life! WHOO-HOO!!!!
Now…something REALLY fun, yummy, sweet and VERY springy I must show and share with you!
Got to LOVE TJ MAXX & MARSHALLS!!!! They carry the BEST home goods, and unique treats for dirt cheap!
They lovely Melissa of Charm School Jewels turned me on to these. I saw them featured on her blog titled "A spoonful of" and fell in love with the colors and packaging! I decided I must run out to my local Marshalls's and see if they had them in stock.
I was in luck!!!!
I have these charming and sweet jars displayed in my kitchen for the spring season.
Fun huh??? They had several in stock so if you have a Marshall's nearby you might have luck finding them. ;)
Im sure you've noticed that I have a "new look". I thought it was time for something fresh & new. I guess it's a spring thing! ๐
Have a lovely week my friends, and a HAPPY HAPPY & Blessed EASTER!!!

Such darling photos of the kids! They look like they had a great time. No cherry blossoms here yet but it is supposed to get to the 70s the end of this week. Yay! Happy Easter.

Jenn, your kids are just adorable! I LOVE this time of year, although it is so refreshing to see your blooming trees. Our up in the North are not blooming yet, a few more weeks for us.
Have a happy week and a wonderful Easter!

p.s.- 2 packages are heading your way soon, I have been busy preparing them this week.
Girl the kids look just YUMMY! Oh the days when the boys let me dress them up so cute!!! Sigh. Not anymore! Miss Vivian is just too skin’ cute! What a fun day! I think I need to head down to Marshall’s!
Now when you go down to Ford Plantation – will you stay there? It seems to me you belong to it . . . with the sign for the tree in your name> Is it like a B & B where you actually stay there because you belong, or can anyone stay?
What a fun time! Enjoy! See you soon!!!! Karen
That’s wonderful that you guys are going to have spring temps over Easter! Just in time. ๐ Have a blessed Easter! XO
Yay! Glad I could bring some sunshine your way. ๐ XO

Thanks Karen! The children do dress up nice! Especially at Easter! ๐
We are members at the F.P. and own property. The main house is an acutal B&B or you can rent a cottage house. Since we haven’t built a home on the property we just rent a house or cottage. They are very southern style and homey. Perfect for us and the kids! I’ll be sure to take lots of pics! ๐ Have a wonderful Easter! XO

It looks like a very fun and SWEET time! Love all the pictures! Thanks so much for sharing. Happy Spring to you!
Oh Jenn, As I longingly gaze at those sweet images of Cherry Blossoms, green grass and Spring time sweaters I look out my window here in Washington and watch a sparrow blown from it’s course to the ground by swirling winds and torrential rain. NO KIDDING! I feel sorry for the kids – mushy eggs will be on the menu this year. At least I am in my cozy living room. Tiffany is spending the weekend in a trailer for a horse show out in Spokane. UGH! Enjoy the sunshine and Ford’s.
Hugs,
Amada
Gorgeous post, Jenn! Love the pictures of the kids hunting easter eggs!!
