Hello sweet friends! I recently had the fun opportunity to join in on Stephenie of Just a Little Bit Pink "Thought of you Swap". I was extremely lucky to have the lovely and gracious host herself as my swap partner. The idea of the swap is to find pretty treasures and goodies that your remind you of your partner. So needless to say I had the BEST time shopping for Miss Stephenie!!!!
I found this darling little chidrens basket that reminded me of a sewing basket. I gave it a bit of a "makeover" and "poof!" Pink and pretty!
Tucked inside the basket was vintage pearl and rhinestone earrings.
A gorgeous demitasse teacup.
Pretty tulle and satin trim. Guess what??? It's my favorite trim right now and it came from of all places……Walmart!!!!!
I found this adorable little tin container at an antique shop.
This lovely Marie Antoinette esque picture got a bit of a makeover. So pretty and definitely Miss Stephenie!!!
When shopping for Stephenie I discovered this darling white baby dress. Ooooh it's sooo sweet! I added just a few touches to the dress and it's ready to hang and display!
The last pretty treasure I found while shopping and thinking of Stephenie is this coverlete. It's a pale pink and trimmed in lace. I thought it would be beautiful on a bed or used on a table as a tablecloth.
Here's the coverlet displayed on Miss Vivi's bed.
I hope Miss Stephenie loves her pretties. I had soooo much fun shopping for her and paying extra special attention to the things she collects, uses, and loves most.
Now….onto the box of OVERWHELMING treats and pretties that Stephenie gave ME!!!!
Talk about *SPOILING* me!!!! Take a lookie at all of this!!!!
YIPPEEEEE goodies galore!!!!
This round tin container was FULL of goodies!!!!!!!!
Dainty gloves and pink millinery. *SWOON*!!!!
Buttons, rhinestones, and lace OH MY!!!
Cuteness!!!!!
Darling!!!!
It doesn't end! There is MORE!!!!
I squeeled over this SUPER cute lamb planter. I think this ranks as one of the sweetest one's I own!
I about died when I saw these little flower girl ballerinas.
Precious!!!
Gorgeous vintage bling! Looove the colors!!!
I *gasped* over these two pretties. By this point I was seriously shaking my head in disbelief over how much Stephenie has given me.
Porcelian roses tray.
The prettiest keepsake of them all which now is displayed in my lavender dining room is this porcelian teapot.
The last darling treasure I want to share is a vintage cone hat that Stephenie found. It looked like it came from right out a costume wardrobe trunk. It would be perfect for Vivi to wear when playing "dress up".
My model looks so pretty wearing it. 😉
Stephenie added the millinery, but the rest is all original.
Stephenie I am speechless over EVERTHING you have given and spoiled me with. Im feel extremely lucky to have been the recipient of such fabulous goodies. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im a bit late to my sweet Aussie friend Natasha's Revamp party. I was out of town when she hosted it, but I figured better late than never!!!!
So, I am on a shoe kick right now. Im loving the vintage mod style gold or silver lame shoes with bling & chunky low heels that could be worn with jeans and a cute blouse.
This is my before photos.
TA-DA!!!!!! The glamourous "after"!!!!!
Yes!!!! I adorned the shoes with "twin" platinum blonde doll head girls and with ribbon trim.
They remind me of a whimsical Cinderella shoe.
When I dressed these shoes up I went back and forth and back and forth as to whether I should add millinery flowers or extra ribbon, and believe it or not I found less is more sometimes. The silver shoes are so pretty that I didnt want to cover up too much of the shoe. The light ribbon trim and dolls were just enough.
Ok. some of you might laugh, but I WILL wear these shoes. Maybe not in conservative Macon GA, but I will wear these if the perfect opportunity presents itself. Perhaps Silver Bella. It looks lovely with the apron Dara of Sophie Rose Designs made me.
Twinkle toes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You cant help but feel SUPER girlie in these shoes!!!! I love them!!!!!!!!
I hope you enjoyed this post of all the sweet and pretty eye candy goodies. Thanks for stopping by! It's always a delight and treat when you pay me a visit!
Also, please check back in a week. I have more girlie clocks that Im about to unveil. ;)
Have a lovely week!!!
